For years I've loved stories that ask impossible questions.

Not simply "Who is the monster?"

But...

"Can a monster change?"

That question became the foundation for Evil Ish?

Like many horror stories, the novel explores darkness—but it also explores redemption, second chances, and the choices that define us. I wanted to write something that could make readers laugh one moment, question their assumptions the next, and still deliver genuine suspense.

The result was Ish.

An unlikely demon trying to navigate the bureaucracy of Hell while discovering that good and evil are rarely as simple as they appear.

One of my favorite parts of writing Evil Ish? was balancing horror with humor. Even in the darkest situations, people joke, hope, and look for meaning. I wanted the characters to feel human—even when they weren't.
